Bsc(Hons) Computing with foundation Year

Overview

Our BSc (Hons) Computing with Foundation Year program is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in computer science and prepare them for the demands of a rapidly evolving industry. This four-year degree is ideal for those who do not meet the entry requirements for direct entry into our three-year BSc (Hons) Computing program.

Foundation Year

The foundation year is an intensive program that focuses on developing essential skills and knowledge in computing. Students will gain a solid understanding of programming, databases, web development, and computer systems. They will also learn about the principles of mathematics and problem-solving, which are essential for success in the field of computing.

Specializations

After completing the foundation year, students will progress to the main BSc (Hons) Computing program. They will have the opportunity to specialize in one of the following areas:
